In a tizzy

I have been keeping this feelings to myself but today marks the end of how much longer I can still hold on to this. Yes, today I am totally pissed off, outraged, infuriated and offended. Whatever other terms you call it, that's it. Insulting me, telling me how lame and tedious my job is doesn't make you a superman or better yet the President of the Philippines. True, I am working at my Dad's company, so what? I am still revolving around my comfort zone, I haven't had the experience of what "she" has experienced but you've got no right to compare me to her. We're different. Totally sundry from each other.
I thought and hoped that keeping these sentiments to myself would someday fade away and I'll forget about it. But it proved me wrong. I found myself crying, I didn't know why but when I had flashbacks about your "jokes" my tears just streamed down my face. God knows how much I wanted to tell my parents, cry to them, act like a kid and tell how detestable you are but no, I can't. A part of me is telling me to deal with this on my own. You say I'm insensitive? Really? Then what does that make you? Please, stop with the judgmental attitude you've got a lot more to know about me, you're not my best friend neither a member of my family so that doesn't give you a single right to judge me. I was wrong, I thought you were a good person but your actions proved the other way. I tried looking for your good characteristics, I saw some yet all of it vanished because of your attitude problem. One favor from me, would you mind developing your own mind-set before reckoning someone else's mental outlook? It will prolly make the world a better place. You act more than my father, you nag all the time, insult me in front of my friends, telling lackluster jokes about my relationship with other people and my own personal life? Boy, you've got some major attitude problem there. If bullying makes you happy, then the stage is all yours. I wouldn't mind. Really. But I hope someday you'll realize you made a monster, and that's me. You'd probably need help from me but don't worry, I'll be there, pushing you down. Mark my word. Tonight I will let all these tears flow down my face for tomorrow I will stand up and forget this.

Moving Closer

The very first time I heard about this song, I thought it was from a foreign act but when I knew who sang it, I was so amazed and felt proud of how much Filipinos can be even greater and can also compete from other bands around the globe. Thanks to the new close up commercial I came to discover this wonderful song from the band called Never the Strangers.

I might want to invite them over my sister's wedding if given the chance though.

Every time I listen to this song, it just makes me want to fall in love, it makes me ponder on things-- about life, love, friendship and family. It gives you sort of encouragement to not be scared of falling and making mistakes, taking risks, and get crazy once in your life.

Fall in love. Be happy. Enjoy every  moment of your life.

Fairness, What is that again?

Good thing some people doesn't have blog like I do, so I can rant about them anytime in here. I don't get it why some people tend to be so impractical. I would not deny the fact that times like these we should know how to balance our own money. How much we should spend and how much we should keep. Hey, just to remind you, you're the one whose been telling us to save and be practical but how can you not do what you've been telling us? Like what Rihanna said walk that talk. Even my Dad who is practically the boss here, who owns the company, who talks to clients did not even complain that his own car is old!? And yet there you are, buying a new expensive car? Let's see.. As what I can remember you're only inside the office the whole day and showing off your car won't do. So is that an additional collection to your expensive cars? Good Lord. I'm not jealous or anything coz I have my own car which is for me the best and still it's in perfectly good condition. But adding something to pay for every month is just not being... Practical. Please if ever you talk to us again about being frugal and be cautious in dealing with money matters, please please do check yourself out. You might need to learn from your own words. Better yet don't even talk about us like those kinds of things again, you just ate up your own words.

Young, wild, and Free

Hello there youth. Some said that during this phase of our life, we have to enjoy the perks life can offer. I agree with that. Nothing beats the convivial peregrination you'll have when you spend it together with the people who's close to you. Craziest and wildest ones. Yes, I am surrounded with one and I am one crazy and wild human being.

We've been planning this trip for a verrrry long time and as the days comes nearer our excitement just keeps on getting bigger. We were all giddy and excited since it's our first time to travel together. It was just a very short (overnight stay) vacation in Davao but the time did not stop us from exploring my second home.

Went to the airport quarter to 6 am since our flight is at 7am, but we were then informed that our flight was moved to 730am because of the late arrival of our aircraft. I was pissed. Really. Our trip was very short and time was really important to us, so wasting it was not an option, but there goes the airline delaying it. Thank goodness for my friends, they kept me entertained the whole time we were waiting for the aircraft to arrive.

Arrived there at around 8am-ish, our driver Mr. Noel, thankfully was already there waiting for us and went straight to my friend's cousin's store to drop her pasalubong. I forgot the name of the place but it was infront of Ateneo de Davao Univ. After that, had our quick breakfast at McDonald's and went straight to Davao Crocodile Park.

Sabeth and I found a new besty. Kisses for her. :* BWAHAHAHAHAHA

There you can find all sorts of animals, you can even take a picture of you holding a crocodile or a snake. That is if you're brave enough. From orangutans to ostriches, snakes to crocodiles, wild boars to dragon snakes. There was even a water sport something but it was closed when we went there.
We learned that if these animals were locked up, they get bored and tend to pick their own feathers to entertain their self. Just around the park was the Butterfly Sanctuary. It was just so beautiful that I wanted to bring all the butterflies home. I remember the last time I went to this kind of facility was way back my high school days.
Entrance to the Butterfly Sanctuary.

Kids and kids at heart can also play around the area but watch out for rusty handles of their swings and slides, it just smells awful. You  might need to have your sanitizer with you. But don't allow that to stop you from having fun.

I just love how fun it is to be a kid again.
Although I've been to Davao a couple of times, it was my first time hearing about GAP Farm, which is our second destination. GAP farm is a place dubbed as the Land of Promise since they say visiting this place promises an unforgettable experience. I don't know with my friends but it was indeed unforgettable. We have to walk a hundred miles from the entrance to the other mountain to reach and have a view of the whole place. There was even a pool but it was loaded with lots of guys training for the coast guard. The entrance fee was just P30.00 so it was all worth it. The place was filled with lush green scenery and the abundant variety of trees, flowers and plants is a sight to behold.

The Parade of the Philippine Indigenous Tribes. There were also parades of the Philippine Presidents and Noble Filipino People.
C E B U baby. :)

The Land of Promise.

It's such a historical place wherein you can also find old tunnels way back World War II dug by Filipinos. It served as their hiding place during the war.

After our lunch, our energy meter went zero so we decided to relax a little bit at our hotel. Our next stop was to buy Durian candies, bought a lot for a cheaper price and we even had a free pack of assorted candies. Thanks to the generous owner.

Third stop, Davao's Seawall. At first I didn't fully understand what our driver said about seeing the "big one" but when we reached the place, there it was, it's absolutely undeniably HUGE. Sadly I was not able to have my picture taken with him.

Our signature jump shot.
Unfortunately the construction of the seawall was not finished because of issues regarding the government and it's owner.

We can do magic!

Bruce Lee's angels.

Meditating.

Friends ever since 2nd year high school. Now we all have different jobs but we do still keep in touch with one another.

Accdg to Ghia: This is how you touch a makahiya plant, with poise.

At our back is the owners mini zoo. You can find there peacocks, chickens, ostrich and an invisible dog. Joking. A dog that keeps on barking but not visible to the naked eye. I wonder where that dog is hiding.

Last stop for the day: People's Park.

I was so jealous of how the government of Davao decided to build a wonderful, breath taking,  and huge park right at the center of Davao. Did I say there was no entrance fee? I kept on asking why Cebu's gov't did not even think of building like this in Cebu. You can stroll around with your dogs or pets (for single people like me), or you can go around with your friends and your special someone.
There was even a library for bookworms like Sabeth.
Pamper time and dinner time. What's more exciting is to experience how DavaoeƱos party at night.

This restaurant is located in Matina Town Square. It offers delish foods in an affordable prices.

My baked mac. yummm.
Right across Keepsakes is Davao's own version of bazaar. There were just a number of stalls but it has a lot of affordable and fashionable clothes you can find.
A lot of blogs said that Someplace else is the place to be when you want to chill and booze when you're in Davao. We wanted to go but the people we asked did not know where it was, or worst they didn't know it exist. So, Karen asked her cousin where's the best place we should go, he suggested going to Starr. We did go. But when we arrived there what caught our attention was not the party goers but the signage that said "DRESS TO IMPRESS" what does that mean? Do we have to wear something flashy?! GOOD GRIEF. What's worse was we opted to try and have some drinks at the bar beside Starr. Our choice was so wrong. Absolutely wrong. It was a place for uhm... not so young people.

Luckily, right beside Starr is Hybrid Bar. Thank goodness it was the right place for us. There were a lot of youngsters like us.. We ordered this Smirnoff tower. I'm not the alcoholic type nor the party girl type but this drink just tastes like a sugar coated candy. It's not that strong and does not give you tummy discomforts for people like me who are not used to drinking hard alcoholic beverages.

Try this when you go to Hybrid
What really amazed me was that their last orders for drinks should only be at 1:30 am and that the party should end at 2:00 am and smoking is strictly prohibited. HURRAY FOR ME!! No more people trying to kill my lungs.

Went to our hotel at around 1am for another trip the next day.

Last day. Sad but the time to say goodbye is getting nearer. I've been here a couple of times but this is one of those days that I really want to stay and wished our vacation was a little longer. Our itinerary for this day was to go and visit Malagos Garden Resort, The Philippine Eagle Center and St. Joseph Parish.

First stop: Malagos Garden Resort. All I thought this resort was that of the usual resorts I've been to but it proved me wrong. It was more than that. You can find all sorts of entertainment there from the extreme type to the moderate kind of fun. Luckily, we arrived there on time to get a load of their Bird Show. I've been to a lot of bird shows, one of which is from Singapore's Night Safari and Bird Park and I must say the Malagos's bird show was really informative and pleasurable.

Buts :)
When you get there, you might as well try their waterball. It's was a fun experience and you get to literally walk in the water that is if you have the will to try and try standing up in which to no avail you'll hit the skids.

Bullies. :|

For every hello, there will always be an adios. It has been a wonderful experience for us. I wonder where we will be next. Summer is here, beach maybe? That's for sure. :)
